Running With Raccoons
5k Run/Walk hosted at Camp Tecumseh YMCA in Brookston, IN
Sunday, April 3. 3:00pm
Make friends, stay fit, and support a good cause in Camp Tecumseh’s first ever 5k run/walk. Whether you’re a serious runner, or fulfilling a New Year’s resolution, we hope you’ll join us for a festive afternoon as we raise money to support the Culross family by assisting them with their medical expenses. Sign up early to reserve your free T-shirt. The top 3 finishers will receive gift cards to Fleet Feet Sports in West Lafayette, and all participants will receive a goody-bag upon arriving. Packet Pickup begins at 1:30pm and the race starts at 3:00pm. Run, walk, skip, jump, or roll the chip-timed 5k course snaking through Camp Tecumseh. Keep your eyes peeled for a course map coming soon. All-terrain strollers are welcome. Please leave pets at home.
A huge part of the Tecumseh culture is building relationships and sharing love with our family, friends, and neighbors. We encourage you to invite someone to join you for the 5K! If you bring a buddy to participate in the 5K, you both receive a discounted registration rate!

In Support of Rob Culross
“December 6, 2012, a dear friend and board member of Camp Tecumseh, Rob Culross, was diagnosed with leukemia. After achieving remission for 2.5 years, the leukemia unfortunately returned on June 3rd, 2015. The financial implications that result from treatment and time away from work are significant. All of the funds from Running with the Raccoons 5K Run/Walk 2016 will be donated to help Rob’s family pay for his medical bills. If you would like to help financially, there is an option for additional donations once you reach the payment page of the registration. Camp Tecumseh is grateful for the Culross family and their love of camp and are praying for Rob’s full recovery.”
