Jamie grew up in Crawfordsville, IN. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Human Services. Jamie is lucky to be on the list of so many great people who have met their spouses at Camp Tecumseh. She met her husband, Kevin, their first summer as counselors in 2010. Tecumseh people are the best kind of people.

Jamie started her Tecumseh experience as a summer camp counselor, and it changed her life in more ways than imaginable. Camp Tecumseh has taught her not only how to make a pen out of wood and how to tie a clove hitch knot, but how to be empathetic, brave, and passionate about impacting kids lives. During the school year, she is known as Jalapeno, and works with the Outdoor Education staff going back in time to live like pioneers, inspiring kids to be great leaders, and exploring the cool things God’s creation has to offer. In the summer, she is known as JZJ, and can be found living life with some awesome Lake Village campers and counselors.

Some of Jamie’s favorite things include playing fetch with her dog, Miley, crafting, singing, taking naps in hammocks, movie theater popcorn, and anything Disney or Marvel. Jamie’s family are the greatest people that she knows and she LOVES being an aunt to her two awesome nephews and beautiful niece.
