Camp Tecumseh continues to expand and improve every year!
The Kampen Lodge activity center now under construction will allow campers warm,
indoor space for climbing, archery, drama, dance, games, creative
arts, chapel services, and much more. This 17,000 square foot
facility will be the activity center of the Lake Village, and its impressive presence next to Scheumann Lodge will make it
one of camp's prominent landmarks.

| This 5,000 square foot room
will be the central hub of the Kampen Lodge . It will
provide campers with interior space for games, crafts,
climbing, archery, and many other activities. The raised stage
area will be the central focal point of the main activity
room. It will provide campers with a high-quality area for
presentations to the entire village or camp. These will

use is designed into these two 850 square foot activity
rooms. They can be used for a wide range of classes or
meetings as well as opening to the main activity room so the
entire camp population can view chapel programs, speakers
and other programs done on stage for the entire camp. |

| Campers will gain
tremendous confidence and develop strength and fitness as
they challenge the heights of this 33 foot climbing wall. Reaching to the
peak of the Kampen Center ceiling, the wall will provide
climbs of varying heights and difficulties so it can serve
campers in Summer Camp as well as YMCA, church, scout, and
school groups year-round . |
