Just past the Creative Arts Center and right by the mini-farm Camp Tecumseh has a wonderful horse stables waiting for campers that would like to experience camp from the back of a horse!
Well maintained facilities, excellent camp horses, and a high quality horse staff make the Tecumseh stables a very popular place. Of course every rider gets a thorough orientation and wears a stylish helmet!
For those that just want a 45 minute trail ride, the beautiful pine forest awaits. What a beautiful place to ride!
For those that want to really improve their skills, sign up for the Horsemanship Clinic and get a 45 minute western riding lesson as one of your morning clinics. Three outdoor arenas allow us to group riders of similar levels so all progress in their riding skills and horse knowledge!
