Flowing along here for hundreds of years, the beautiful Tippecanoe is why Camp Tecumseh was founded on this spot in 1924.
Though the river is no longer our only water resource, it is still a graceful ribbon of tranquility as it gently flows passed the River Lodge.
Older campers still get to take canoe trips down ‘the Tippe’ and Blazer age campers have to cross her to get to Adventure Island.
What tales she could tell of camp days past if we only had ears to hear.
