This is our second child to attend Camp Tecumseh. Together they attended 11 years. I couldn’t be happier with the friends they made and their spiritual growth as it is connected to real world feelings and every day activities, not just ideals.

What a great experience for my son! At the cabin the day we dropped off my son, the counselors immediately made me feel like he would be in good hands. They were very friendly and upbeat. My son loved camp. Camp Tecumseh was highly recommended to us and now we understand why. My son will definitely be back next year, and the year after that, and the year after that. We have a 4 year-old and a 2 year-old that will most likely join the Camp Tecumseh fun one day. We are looking forward to many years with you. THANK YOU!!!!

The minute you drive into Camp Tecumseh, you know it’s a special place. Our daughter has told us that no matter who you are or what your personality---you are accepted. This was our daughter’s 5th year at resident camp. Each of those 5 years, I have seen a change in her when she comes home from camp. She comes home more confident, outgoing, and more grown up. After having sent our children to Camp Tecumseh for 10 years, we sometimes take for granted that they will have tons of fun, make new friends, have great counselors, learn new skills, and grow in faith. The counselors and staff do an excellent job in caring for the campers, making them feel welcome, included, and special. There are so many fun things to do and many activities to choose from. They do a great job of stressing Christian values.

We’ve been involved with this wonderful place for a while and the experiences really do last a lifetime. Camp helped raise our kids. It’s an anchor for us, and we try to remember “I’m third” all year.

Sending our children away for a week is very scary. The fears are diminished when Camp Tecumseh is concerned. You are able to view photos daily and I know she is with staff that promotes God, love, respect, kindness, and so much more. Living in a world where you cannot talk freely about God, I am so thankful to the Camp Tecumseh staff for encouraging communication and actions that show God’s love!

The morning chapel and evening devotions are a great idea and she loved it. She liked it so much she’ll be back next year. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. I liked being able to check the website everyday and look for her in the pictures you had posted there. It was also great to be able to send her an email through your website.

Camp Tecumseh is the experience of a lifetime. It is the one place I know I can be myself and become friends with other people that are just being themselves. Camp Tecumseh is also where I feel closest to God.

It is amazing! You can’t go anywhere else like it! You meet tons of new people, learn tons of new things, and just have Fun. I loved how my cabin became a big family and cared for one another. The staff and counselors are loving and kind, they look out for everyone. You Have to go to Camp T.

Camp Tecumseh is very beautiful and the staff is really friendly. It is an excellent camp experience, even if you have never been to camp before. I am definitely going back and I would strongly recommend it.

Camp Tecumseh is a very positive growth experience in all aspects. Our camper has grown and matured “on her own”, away from parents in a protected environment.
