Campers In Leadership Training (CILTS) is an intensive 2 week
leadership program for teens who have completed their sophomore
or junior year of high school. The CILT experience is a transition
year from camper to (hopefully) counselor. Many of camp's finest
counselors have emerged from our CILT program!

- We help young people figure out what good leaders
do and say.
- We help young people figure out what good
counselors do and say.
- We give them lots of opportunities to practice
doing and saying these things.
- We make it fun!!!!!
Campers in the CILT program live together in cabins, but
"adopt" a younger cabin group of campers each week. They shadow the counselors
during activity times to learn from them (and from the campers). During the
second week, CILT campers actually plan, lead, and evaluate an evening of
program activities for their adopted cabin. CILTs also spend a day shadowing the
Day Camp program, and a day doing a service project for the local community.
CILTs is an opportunity for teens to join together their love
of camp and working with kids!
