The schedule for Equestrian Day Camp follows the schedule for regular Day Camp but while the Day Campers are involved in their group activities, the Equestrian Day Campers will be at the barn gaining hands on experience with the horses.
During their time at camp, the campers will be learning how to groom and tack a horse, different horse and tack parts, breeds, colors, markings, and basic horse care. They will also have the opportunity to ride every day during their time. The campers will be receiving riding lessons by qualified instructors in a class of campers with similar riding abilities. Trail rides, games on horseback, and many other horse related activities will round out their day. Besides the horse experience, the campers will still be involved with the rest of Day Camp, participating in chapels, swim times, gold rush, and world service carnival. Equestrian Day Camp is a great way to fulfill your horse passion while here at camp.
