One of the great benefits of working at Camp is reuniting with the Camp Family when they visit.
Doc (Laura) worked 5 summers starting in “1985″. For those that don’t know “Doc” you can appreciate that she committed 5 summers to working with children. For those that do know her, you can see that she hasn’t change a bit.

There was a ton of enthusiasm at Opening Campfire last night as Council Ring rocked with songs and laughter!

We just finished another terrific week at Camp. So many happy campers and a wonderful group of Trippers! CILT Session 1 campers had a great cheer and song. DVD for the week was EXCEPTIONAL too.

Campers love the water slides.
Windy storm Tuesday night damaged the water slides. Campers and staff were all under cover and safe. We have ordered replacement slides and are trying to avoid any campers missing out on this fun adventure.

Left slide was ruined.

North slide damaged significantly too.

The first week’s Alumni Reception was a great success! It was held in the Francis Bradshaw Nature Center, during check-in. Camp alumni came to visit and we were impressed by the many different types of alumni who stopped by.
- Multi-Year Indian Guides Dad, whose daughter is now here for week 1 summer camp
- CILT Camper from just a few years back who came to drop off her younger sister
- Former Councilors whose children are attending camp this week
- Outdoor Education Parent Chaperone who was back after her October rainy-day experience.
- Former full-time staff

What great times we all had reminiscing about fond memories, re-connecting with old friends and making early-stage plans for reunion groups, dinners, float trips and more! We will be running this event again for Week 2 parents. There is no need to register for the event, feel free to just stop by during/after check in. We’ve got memorabilia from your era of camp, a coffee mug for you, and snacks… but you’ll have to sing for your M&M’s!
