After 40 years of service, during which time Camp Tecumseh has been elevated to one of the premier YMCA camps in the U.S. with state-of-the-art facilities, successful capital campaigns, and outstanding staff, Dave and his wife, Beth, are excited to retire and move closer to their new grandchild. On Behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank Dave for his extraordinary leadership. We are grateful for all that he has done during his era at Camp Tecumseh, and we celebrate with Dave and Beth as they look forward to entering their well-deserved retirement effective September 30, 2012. A Search & Transition Committee has been formed to conduct a nationwide search to select the next leader for Camp Tecumseh YMCA. We plan to post the vacancy by mid-March and to select the preferred candidate by the beginning of August with the new CEO on the job by September 15th. Qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply. All candidates, regardless of relationship or connection to Camp Tecumseh, will go through the same thorough process.
