Two of the founders from Brackets for Good joined a school group in camp last week to present a large check and trophy to Camp Tecumseh for our success in their inaugural fundraising event in March.

Does camp have a trophy case?
In total, camp supporters raised over $11,000 which was enough to win the bonus $5,000 as well!

Helping send kids to camp!
We think a group of kids in camp is a perfect representation of what this money will be used for… camperships!
You can donate year-round to help send kids of all backgrounds to camp… for Summer Camp, Weekend Retreats, and Outdoor Education programs. Visit http://www.camptecumseh.org/donations/ to make a gift today.

Rescued from the pigs.
Baby turtles were discovered hatching-out yesterday at camp. The nest hole was only a few inches away from the pig pen at the mini farm up by the lake.

Newly hatched
Several Outdoor Education staff were watching over the event and even rescued one turtle that wondered in with the pigs. There might have been more turtles still down in the nest. but we counted five of them and watched as they headed for the lake. You can watch a video of the event at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDtqwqzfZy8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmHZaIAySkM
