Dinner says Thank You to our Trailblazers

On Sunday we had the privilege of hosting the yearly Trailblazer Society dinner in our Lake Village.  Trailblazers are very special friends of Camp Tecumseh.  Members of the Trailblazer Society are those donors who have remembered camp in their estate plans.  They contribute greatly to the growth of camp as well our outreach to families in needs of camperships.

Many of our Trailblazers have helped to set up important endowments for Camp Tecumseh.  Endowments funds are unique and important.  They are what we like to call ‘Forever Gifts.’  We never withdraw from the original value of the donation and we only use the interest of appreciation from the gift to fund various camp programs.  For instance, one endowment helps us pay for our camp nurse every year!  Our endowments are also a key factor in keeping camp sessions affordable for all children in the years to come.

We finished our evening with a wonderful dinner full of camp stories and memories!  You are never too old for a little bit of camp!
