Foundations For Success is a 2 or 3 day program designed for the 5th - 8th grade. This program allows for the students, teachers, and parents to develop and build strong relationships for years to come.

Foundations For Success focuses on the education of the heart, the temperament and attitude of our youth. We believe that developing sensitivity to the needs, abilities and talents of others as well as ourselves, are keys in our becoming mature, successful individuals. The following concepts are the basis of the Camp Tecumseh experience designed to build within our youth Foundations For Success.

bullet Communication Station - fun activities that teach students the importance of good communication
bullet Optimist Challenge - a low ropes course used in building self confidence
bullet Survival Simulation - students have to work together to survive in the wilderness
bullet Team's Course/Group Initiatives - as a team, students use problem solving to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks
bullet Mission Possible - students are sent on a secret mission to Ghost Creek
bullet Mt. Wood or Ziggy's Gulch - students climb one of our own climbing towers

"Liked the way learning occurred by participation and emersion in the subject matter."
