A Message from the Retreats Director

Camp Tecumseh YMCA is more than just a summer camp. We also host weekend retreats and specialty camps through our Retreats Department. These weekends provide opportunities for people of all ages to experience the great outdoors, learn new skills, make friends, and grow spiritually, mentally and physically. Some of our weekend and specialty groups include:

  Y-Guides (father-son/father-daughter program)
  Churches
  Girl Scouts (badge work during March)
  Cub Scouts
  Universities
  Family Camp (Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends)
  Grand Camp (grandparent and grandchild)
  4-H Camp
  Touchstone Energy Camp
  Trails of Hope Grief Camp
  Hoosier Burn Camp

Camp Tecumseh hosts groups as small as 10 and as large as 600! We offer comfortable sleeping accommodations, quality food service, and a variety of recreational activities.

Our 500 acre facility is situated on the Tippecanoe River just 15 minutes north of Lafayette, Indiana. Camp Tecumseh is far enough away from the bright lights of the big city, but close enough for reasonable travel times, providing a perfect location that is both convenient and serene.
