Fall, Winter, and Spring

Each weekend during the fall through the spring Camp Tecumseh serves a variety of guests through our Retreats and Group Experiences Department.

YMCA Parent/Child programs, church retreats/youth groups, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and others. Our staff provide recreational experiences during their stay.

bullet Archery (outdoor and indoor ranges)
bullet Riflery (.22 rifles)
bullet Climbing Tower (outdoor and indoor walls)
bullet Black Hole (enclosed sled run)
bullet Canoeing and paddleboating on the lake
bullet Horseback Trail rides through our Pine Forest

bullet Must be 16 years of age or older.
bullet Ability to relate with children and adults.
bullet Enjoy working outdoors.
bullet Enthusiasm and initiative.
bullet Must be physically able to:
a. lift and carry 25 lbs.
b. speak and understand English
bullet Experience working with youth.

bullet Arrive at the scheduled work time dressed appropriately.
bullet Work the average of at least 2 weekends per month.
bullet Proper opening and closing of program areas.
bullet Provide superb customer service.
bullet Reporting on a weekly basis of damaged program equipment (i.e. damaged sleds, arrows, rifles, etc.) to the director on duty.
bullet Direct all inquiries concerning Tecumseh programs to proper staff.
bullet Attend mandatory paid training dates.
bullet Display sound judgment and a professional attitude.
