Riflery

Camp guests can try their aim at either the River Village or Lake Village Riflery Ranges.  Lying in the prone position, guests have the opportunity to shoot .22 caliber rifles.  Tickets for the riflery range are $.75 each and give the shooter ten shots.

Archery

Nock an arrow, aim and fire at one of the two archery ranges at camp.  Camp staff will assist guests in safety and technique in order to get a high score in archery.

The Black Hole

Scream down the Black Hole as you are plunged into momentary darkness before coming out at the bottom.  Guests can race a friend down the Black Hole.

The Bullet

Guests can visit the Lake Village to try out The Bullet Slide.  Sit in a potato sack and race down to the bottom.  See who can make it the farthest!

Trailrides

Guests can sign up to ride one of our trained horses through the pine forest--a great time for new and experienced riders alike.  Trailrides are led by trained Tecumseh Staff.  Sign-up is chronological and tickets can be purchased in the trading post for $9/rider.

Nature Center

Come warm up by the fire and take a look at our Nature Center.  Featuring museum-quality displays of local animals, an opportunity to touch and feel different animal pelts and see various fish, snakes and turtles.  Also watch the busy bees in the working beehive and view and hear the birds through our large viewing window.

candle making

Enjoy this relaxing and creative craft! With our staff's assistance, create a multi-color candle by dipping the candle wick into a variety of colors of wax. After you are done with the dipping, our staff will carve your candle into a design that you won't want to burn!
