Typical Overnight Camp Activities

Camp T’s activities balance learning, accomplishment, and fun.

 

Camp Tecumseh’s camper return rate is far above the national average. We know our terrific counseling staff plays a huge part in that. We also know that exciting, purposeful activities facilitate the kind of character growth that makes the camp experience so valuable. That’s why we offer the most innovative, intentional programs we can.

 

Skill Development Clinics

 

We’re committed to giving campers opportunities to try new things, and develop new skills. From sports, to arts and crafts, and everything in between our skill development clinics are designed not only to teach skills, but also to foster a love of learning and an appreciation for hard work and perseverance. Whether they are making friendship bracelets, or tackling the Skywalkers course, we hope every camper goes home knowing the joy of accomplishment.

 

At the beginning of the week, campers choose three skill clinics to participate in every morning. Not all activities are available for all age levels.

Other Activities

 

The heart of the Camp Tecumseh experience is inside the cabin, and every afternoon and evening cabin groups spend their time adventuring, learning, building, playing, and growing together. Whether making new friends at a brave girl tea party, or adventuring into the woods on a mud hike, nothing beats hanging out with 10 new best friends.
