Several times a year Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center
hosts 60-70 women for a wonderful weekend of quilting at the beautiful Leadership
Center. A patient, knowledgeable instructor presents
the theme project after dinner Friday evening. Quilt camps
are like a big reunion of best friends, though there are
usually 6-10 'new' campers each time. You will find every
type of quilter from the complete novice to the most experienced,
and we all end up learning from each other. Everyone brings
their own sewing machine and projects
to finish or start. Inspiration, encouragement, success,
fabulous memories, wonderful friends, shopping, late nights,
and a beautiful setting are all a part of this exciting
experience. Many ladies come to several of our Quilt Camps
each year because they are so much fun!
