Amie Gleason

Equestrian Director

Phone: 765-564-2898, ext 246

Amie was born 2,000 miles away in northern California where she spent her mornings in home school.

At an early age, two “lawnmowers” were brought home that ignited her lifelong passion for horses. She travelled to Houghton College in New York on a full athletic scholarship for Basketball and Volleyball where she studied business and Equestrian studies. While attending college she met Ben, her husband and father of their three children. A temporary stop in the middle of the country has transformed into a lifelong career at Tecumseh.

As the Equestrian Director she builds new programs, guides the staff, and cares for the herd of horses. She enjoys vacationing to Disney World, road trips, and watching her children play baseball. In 2005 Amie won the Regional Dressage Championship with her horse Keeghan. She longs for the California sun after harsh Indiana winters and despite her aversion to the spotlight, found herself on Inside Edition and Channel 18 after giving birth to her daughter Reagan in her garage.
