|Madee Andrews |
Madee Andrews hails from Monticello, Indiana. She is a sophomore at Indiana University and is in the process of completing a Non-profit Business degree. She hopes to someday work for an awesome organization and help others. Madee is returning to camp for her eighth summer! She is looking forward to pool time, random dance parties, fun costumes, and, most of all, chapel.

Betsy Astrup is from Peru, Indiana, and will be entering her senior year at Indiana University this fall studying Political Science with minors in Social Welfare Advocacy and Dutch. After she graduates, Betsy is planning on going to law school. She is spending all of May and June working with underprivileged kids in Livingstone, Zambia, so she will not be joining us at Camp T until Week 5 but she cannot wait to return for her sixth summer at camp and second summer on resident staff! Betsy loves all things Indiana University, puppies, Qdoba, and scrunchies, but specifically at Camp T she loves naked nuggets, the friendly lake whales, and praising Jesus all day every day at Camp Tecumseh.

Emily is from Carmel, Indiana and attends Indiana University. She will be a Junior in the fall and is studying social work. She is really looking forward to all the fun things that happen at camp everyday and getting to know all of the campers!

Kendall Baker, 22, hails from the green acres of Delphi, Indiana. During High School he was involved in many activities including Theater, school newspaper, glee club, 4-H, Class Treasurer, and a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church. Through 4-H, Kendall was a counselor for the State Junior Leader Conference in 2012 and a counselor for 2 years at Area 8 & 9 4-H Camp. Kendall has worked at Camp Tecumseh since the fall of 2009 as a part of the weekend staff. This will be his first time as a Counselor for Camp Tecumseh but his experience in traveling and working as a counselor will benefit him as he co-leads the group to each destination.

Lauren Baney hails from the exciting city of Fishers, IN and is ecstatic to be coming home to camp for her fourth summer on staff! She just graduated in May from Ball State University and is planning to attend Indiana University this fall to pursue her Master's in Public Health! In her spare time, Lauren loves to sing, dance, bake cookies, and take pictures of her goats in sweaters. Lauren loves everything about camp and is so excited for another summer hanging out with the greatest campers around! At camp, you can usually find Lauren running around in a tutu and a cat vest or singing songs about penguins.

Marcos Barbosa was born in Brazil, is 22 years old and his nickname is Mark. He is studying French and Production Engineering at Pontifical University Catholic of Minas Gerais. This is the first summer that he will spend at Camp Tecumseh as a Counselor and he is unbelievably excited. Marcos loves extreme sports and is looking forward to a summer full of ziplining, swimming and friendships. His most important purpose is encouraging campers to overcome their weakness and develop a confidence to achieve their goals while person.

Sarah Baxter is from Zionsville, Indiana and will be starting her sophomore year at the University of Dayton where she studies Biochemistry. This will be Sarah’s sixth year and Camp Tecumseh and she is looking forward to having endless fun at the lake and chapel with all of the wonderful campers!

Jasmine is from Kokomo, IN. She is currently finishing up her Associate's Degree in Elementary Education at Ivy Tech Community College in Kokomo. In the fall she will transfer to Indiana University- Kokomo and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, and singing! Although she has attended summer camps before, this will be her FIRST summer ever at Camp Tecumseh. She is super excited to make lots of new friends, grow, learn, and worship with her campers, and have FUN!

Trading Post Staff
Valerie Bollin is from Rensselaer Indiana. She is entering her sophomore year at Purdue University as a Fine Arts major with a Psychology minor. After graduation, she hopes to continue on her education and get a masters in Art Therapy. She also enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and especially canoeing. Valerie is very excited for her first year on staff and cannot wait to meet everyone and make some awesome friends!
|Danny Bott |
Danny comes all the way from the great state of Ohio. While he spends most of the year studying at the University of Dayton, his favorite place on Earth is none other than Camp Tecumseh. Danny's favorite things about Camp are lunch time, devotions, walks down lake road and songfest. He couldn't be more ecstatic to spend all summer at Camp with some of the coolest kids in the world. Danny has five older brothers so he's always looking for competition. He is an avid Notre Dame fan, plays lots of sports, loves to read and has always wanted to learn how to do a Rubik's Cube. Feel free to stop and chat with Danny at anytime!

Jon is going to be a sophomore biology major at Butler University in Indiana. Jon is 6 foot 6 inches. Jon likes to swim and enjoys fine dining at several restaurants that include but are not limited to : chipotle, red lobster, hamburger places, and pretty much everywhere else. Jon's favorite color is blue because he likes the ocean, which makes sense because his favorite animal is an orca whale. Jon is super excited about camp!

Kerri is from Elmhurst, Illinois, and is going to be a junior at Saint Louis University, studying PR and Advertising. She spent this past semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, but spent time in 7 countries and 15 cities. Of all the places Kerri's seen, Tecumseh is her favorite, and she can't wait to be back for her Second year on staff and 8th summer. Kerri loves nothing more than hearing the campers sing louder than the microphones at chapel, and float trips at sunset. She is looking forward to welcoming all her campers, old and new, to the happiest place on Earth!

Naomi is originally from the beautiful Lake District in England, and has lived all over the UK in recent years. She has an undergraduate degree in English and Linguistics from the University of York, and a postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy from City University London. Naomi is so excited to be hopping across the pond this summer to return to Camp T, with a focus on supporting campers with additional needs, such as ASD and ADHD. Naomi's other passions in life include reading, travelling, hugging, and wearing stripes. Some of her favourite things at camp are chapel songs, trail rides and chocolate chip cookies, but she loves every other part of the Tecumseh day too!!

Johnny is coming for Camp T for the first time and it's his first time at USA, so he is so excited to make this the best experience ever in his life. He is oldest siblings in his family and have a lot of experience because of that. He also have ability cooking and some people said he does taste pies. He like to travel and would like to study gastronomy at college. He can't wait to meet the kids and have the best summer of his life!

Lauren is looking forward to spending her seventh summer at Camp T and her first on staff as a member of the media team! She just finished up her senior year of high school and will be a journalism major at Indiana University in the fall. She started her own photography business two years ago and can't wait to capture the beauty of camp and the memories made throughout the summer. Her favorite things about camp are chapels in the Green Cathedral, theme dinners, and grilled cheese.

Annie is from Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be starting her sophomore year at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana in the fall. She is majoring in Elementary Education with a focus in urban education. This summer will be her first summer on staff and she is beyond excited to spend her whole summer at the best place on Earth! She loves anything in the water and loves to spend her afternoons in a hammock making friendship bracelets with others. She can't wait for the mud hikes, s'mores, and meeting new campers each week!

Monet is from Lafayette, Indiana. She just finished her first year at Butler University as a theatre major. Monet enjoys everything that involves art and adventure. This is her first time working at camp, but she is excited for all the fun to come.

Assistant High Ropes Coordinator
Alison Crooks is very excited for her second summer as Assistant High Ropes Coordinator! She can't wait for all the zip line, rock wall, and high rope adventures that is to be had. Alison recently graduated from University of Illinois and decided to take some time before graduate school and made sure a summer at Camp Tecumseh was her first stop. She hopes all the campers and counselors are just as excited as she is to spend another summer in the sun.

Lydia grew up outside nearby Brookston, IN, but considers Purdue University her temporary home. She has finished her third year there studying English Education, growing in her love for young people as well as the study of ideas through language and literature. Some things she loves include singing, Earl Grey tea, chacos and flannels, grand pianos, talking to people for hours, stars and trees, and a good campfire. Most of all, she loves Jesus like a crazy person, which is one of the biggest reasons she's so excited to be back for another summer at Camp Tecumseh!

Kate is from River Forest, Illinois and is so excited for her first summer as an overnight counselor. This fall, she will be a sophomore at the University of Illinois where she studies Mechanical Engineering. This will be Kate’s 6th summer at camp and a few of her favorite things are sleep outs, campfires, chapel, and the lake. Oh! And making new friends! She loves making new friends.

Lily is from Naperville, IL and currently lives in Minneapolis, where she studies psychology and computer science at the University of Minnesota. She dreams of moving back to Chicago, where she spent a year in national service with AmeriCorps after high school. This will be Lily's sixth year at camp but her first as a resident counselor, and she is very excited to make camp her home all summer! She especially loves chapel, campfires, unit cheers, and stargazing!

Robyn is from West Lafayette, Indiana and is going to be a sophmore at Purdue University in the fall studying Health Sciences with the hopes of transfering into the Nursing program in the near future. This will be her first summer as a resident counselor and she couldn't be more excited. Robyn loves to swim, laugh, sing, talk, make crafts, freak out over the mini farm pigs, and dance. She can't wait to meet all the new campers and experience camp for the first time on staff!

Caleb is from the faraway lands of West Lafayette where he was raised in the lands of the black and gold of Purdue. This will be his third summer as an overnight counselor and he is super excited to be back representing the Camp T spirit. From blob time to star gazing, camp is where you can be who you want to be and Caleb loves to be a part of it.

Taylor is from Carmel, IN and cannot wait to be back at camp for her 9th summer! Taylor is a junior at Purdue University studying Speech Pathology and she loves Chacos, pug puppies, and all things Camp T. Her favorite camp activities are mud hikes, chapel, and closing campfire. She is so excited to make this summer the best one yet!

Katie will be a junior this fall at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Human Development and Family Studies, Communication, and Social Work. She is originally from Hinsdale, Illinois, a small suburb of Chicago. This is her 11th summer at camp, and her 4th on staff. Her favorite parts of camp are blob time, all camp chapels, and hobo dinners. She can't wait for the greatest Camp T summer ever!
|Will Estey |
Will is from Western Springs, IL and currently attends Miami University as a sophomore studying Economics and German. He will be turning 20 this summer and this will be his first year as a staff member and sixth year at camp. In his free time Will plays hockey and golf or practices his Chinese and German. He is most excited to have Lake Time with his campers and play Gaga and Ultimate Frisbee.

Becky is ecstatic for her eighth summer at camp and first summer as a resident counselor! She grew up in West Lafayette, IN, and just finished her freshman year at Indiana University studying Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Human Ecology (Though ORPHE is a lot less of a mouthful and a lot more fun to say). She loves all things outdoors such as backpacking, fishing, and hammocking and hopes to one day work for the National Park Service. Becky loves everything about camp, but is especially excited for mud hikes, sleep outs, and hanging out with campers.

This will be Nay's second summer on staff and in the USA. She is one of the Brazilian counselors that are here this year. Her favourite things at Camp include cinnamon rolls, chapel songs, the I am third model and closing camp fires. She loves the idea of helping campers to grow in their faith and character, which is one of the reasons she came back. She can't wait for summer to finally start.

Taylor honestly can't wait to be back at the best place on earth for her 11th summer! This will be her third year on staff, and she could not be more excited! Taylor is from Carmel, Indiana and currently attends Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame, where she will be a sophomore in the fall studying elementary education. She loves absolutely everything about camp, especially becoming best friends with everyone, giving out friendship bracelets, singing at the top of her lungs, and wearing bows every day.

Brody is from West Lafayette, IN and will be a senior at Indiana University in the fall. This is his third year as a resident counselor and he is pumped that he gets to spend another summer impacting lives at Camp Tecumseh. He loves experiencing the outdoors, making new friendships, and growing closer with God. Specifically at camp, he enjoys chapel, sleepouts, and skyrocketing campers off the blob at the lake.

Katelynn is from West Lafayette, IN. She has just completed her freshman year at Grace College studying Elementary Education. Katelynn is so excited to teach all of the children at Camp T how to ride the beautiful steeds for her third summer as a barn assistant!

Meghan is stoked to return to Camp Tecumseh for her 10th summer at the greatest place on earth! This will be her third summer on staff, having spent the last two summers as a Day Camp Counselor. In the fall, Meghan will be a sophomore at Illinois State University studying Nursing with dreams of becoming a Neonatal Nurse. She cannot wait to enjoy a summer full of laughter, hugs, great new friends, blob time, baked oatmeal, chapel, and Jesus.

Allie is from Carmel, IN and is going to be a senior at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she studies Entertainment Industry Studies and English. Her favorite camp activities include chapel, making up cabin cheers, and wearing opening campfire costumes. Some of her favorite things outside of camp include the Indianapolis Colts, watching HGTV, superhero movies, and eating Southern comfort food. Allie cannot wait for another summer at the best place on Earth!

Shanon is from Mundelein, Illinois. She studies Nursing at Olivet Nazarene University and will be a senior in the fall. She hopes to one day be able to work as a travel or missions nurse, serving those in need while getting to see and experience all the cool places the world has to offer! When Shanon is not studying for her next nursing exam, she enjoys biking, baking cupcakes, painting, and eating ice cream with friends. At camp this summer she is most looking forward to meeting and building relationships with all the wonderful campers and getting to spend every day outside!

Holly is from New Carlisle, IN; which is a tiny town near South Bend, IN. She is a sophomore at Saint Mary-of-the- Woods College in Terre Haute, IN majoring in Psychology and minoring in Equine Assisted Therapy hoping one day she can become an Equine Assisted Mental Health Therapist. This will be her sixth year at good OL' Camp T. but her first as an equine camp counselor! Some of her favorite things are pasta, bike rides, and practicing for the hunt seat equestrian team at school! She is excited for village games, hobo dinners, and making new friends!

Emelyn is a native Texan taking residence in Lexington, Kentucky as a double major in animal science and equine management at the University of Kentucky. This will be Emelyn's second summer at Tecumseh as an equestrian counselor. Some of Emelyn's favorite things are singing loudly, being silly, baseball, playing sports, and horses. Ellyn is from Indianapolis and in May of 2015 she graduated from Indiana University. She is so excited to be back at camp for her 7th summer on staff. Her favorite things about Camp Tecumseh are clinics (especially the craft ones), singing and dancing at chapel, making new friends, laughing and playing games during trading post, and hiking the trails! She can't wait to make new memories at camp this summer!

Matthew is from Carmel, Indiana, and is entering his sophomore year at Purdue, majoring in social studies education! Matthew enjoys spending time with friends, playing the upright bass in the orchestra, doing anything baseball related, and trying new arts and crafts. This will be Matthew's first year ever at Camp Tecumseh, and he is very eager to get to know the campers, make new friends, have fun, and make it a summer to remember!

Taylor is from Zionsville, Indiana and is going into her sophomore year at Purdue University studying Human Services. At Purdue, she is an active member of College Mentors for Kids, Purdue Dance Marathon, and Kappa Alpha Theta. This will be her 7th year at camp and her first year as a counselor. Taylor is looking forward to chapel, grilled cheese, random dance jams, and having the best summer at the best place!

Ryan is absolutely stoked to be returning for his third year at Camp T after recently graduating from Purdue! Ryan is originally from Lafayette, Indiana and will soon be moving to Chicago for Physical Therapy school at UIC. In his free time, Ryan loves anything and everything sports, music, and watching too much Netflix. Before moving to Chicago, Ryan is looking forward to loving life at camp, growing in faith through devotions, random dancing, and Color Wars! He also secretly hopes someone finally teaches him how to make a friendship bracelet!

Kerrigan is from Hobart, Indiana and recently finished her freshmen year at MacMurray College. While attending she plays softball and pursues a nursing and psychology degree. This will be her first year attending Camp Tecumseh as a cabin counselor and she is nothing but excited. In her free time she likes to run, play softball, paint and quote movies. Kerrigan is looking forward to developing friendships, expanding her faith and relationship with God and most of all, having an awesome summer with staff and campers!

Kelly Jones is from West Lafayette Indiana and is going to be a junior at Purdue University this upcoming semester. This will be her second year as a resident counselor and couldn't be any more excited. A few things Kelly loves about camp include the morning clinics, meetings all of the campers, and morning chapel. She can't wait to meet you and make this the best week of your summer!

Mike is a student at Balls State University studying Secondary Math Education. This is his fourth summer at camp and he is excited for the opportunity to be a mentor to many campers this summer. Mike also has some experience with our Outdoor Education program where he has played a part in three seasons.

Jesiel is one of the counselors coming from Brazil this Summer. This is his first summer being a camp counselor. He is so happy to be at Camp T. He loves sports and his favorite hobby is play his guitar. He really wants the summer to start, he is super excited for it!

Kara hails from the lovely Chicago suburb of Downers Grove, IL. She recently graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This will be her second year as a camp counselor at Camp Tecumseh, but her ninth summer as a counselor in general. She is super psyched to be coming back to the best place on earth! At camp some of her favorite things include baked oatmeal, dressing up and dancing for campfires and theme dinners, running charades, shooting sports, crafting, lying out under the stars, and praising God in chapel. She can't wait for the adventures and memories that she and the campers will be a part of this summer. A fun fact about her is that she is fluent in speaking whale and due to this is close friends with the whales that reside at the bottom of the Richard G. Marsh Lake.

Liz Koch had the time of her life last summer living it up with the CILT ladies in the Longhouse that she decided to return once again for another great summer. This will be Liz's 5th summer at camp and every year it gets better and better. She's making the drive to the fun filled, smiles everywhere, laughing nonstop, destination of Camp Tecumseh from Colorado Springs, Colorado where she just finished her first year of teaching at Harrison High School teaching sophomore and senior level math. Get ready to do some SOH-CAH-TOA and probabilities during rest hour. Liz Koch's favorite things about camp are the walk back from closing campfire, making new friends and reuniting with old ones, chapels, getting over the giant wall, blob time, and evening devotions.

Maggie is going into her sophomore year at Saint Louis University where she is studying Public Health with a Minor in Theology. She is originally from Carmel, Indiana where she lives with her parents and her dog Hercules. Her favorite movies are any of the Harry Potters (if she had to pick a favorite, the Half Blood Prince) and The Princess Bride and she is an avid lover of Mac and Cheese. This is her seventh summer at camp and her first on residence staff. She cannot wait for another summer of blobbing, mac bites, walks from LV to Riv (and visa versa) and devotions with the best kids on the planet!

Amy Kruse is from Crestwood, Illinois and is going to be a Junior at the University of Illinois. She is absolutely thrilled to be studying Special Education. This is her tenth summer at Camp Tecumseh! She loves to wear crocs year round and looks forward to rocking them with her fellow counselors this summer. Amy's favorite things about camp are singing at chapel, mud hikes, hobo dinners, and spontaneous dance parties!

Grace hails from West Lafayette Indiana and this will be her 15th summer at camp and 5th on staff! After spending two summers jumping around units on res staff she is beyond excited to have a home in the longhouse with the CILTs this year! This fall she will be a senior at Purdue University (Boiler Up!) where she studies military history and runs on the cross country and track team. A few things that she loves include disney movies, cats, Star Wars, and being outdoors doing anything adventurous! Grace cannot wait to spend time making new friends, float tripping down the beautiful Tippecanoe, diving deeper into Gods word in devotions, and singing everyday in the Green Cathedral!

After being a camper for 9 summers and on staff for 3, Emily Lanigan-Jones is excited for her 13th summer at Camp T! Emily will be a junior in the fall at the University of Nevada, Reno studying elementary education with a minor in special education. In her spare time, she enjoys leading worship at church, watching movies, and hysterically laughing. Emily can't wait to meet all of her campers!

Taylor is from Fishers, Indiana and is really excited for his first summer at Camp Tecumseh. In the fall Taylor will be returning to Purdue University (Boiler Up!) for his senior year. Taylor studies sociology and psychology. He loves meeting new people and getting to know everyone. Taylor also enjoys peanut butter, taking naps, reading, and watching Disney movies. He can't wait for all the fun and excitement that Camp Tecumseh is going to bring!

Aaron lives in Saint John, Indiana while attending school at Indiana University Northwest. He is studying criminal justice with a focus in labor. This will be Aaron's ninth year at Camp T; his second year on staff, but first year as a cabin counselor. He is most excited for chapel, making tons of new friends, lake time, and ultimate frisbee! Aaron can't wait to spend another summer living third at his favorite place on Earth.

She hails from the lovely city of West Lafayette, IN and is a recent graduate Hanover College. She is passionate about travel and teaching and history and in her spare time is an avid book-reader, paint-splatterer, and cookie dough-taster.

Grace grew up on a small, family farm in Delphi, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Agribusiness Management in May 2015 and has spent the last year working for the nation's largest youth development organization. This fall she will be starting graduate school at Texas A&M University. Grace loves being intentional, people, ice cream, prayer, and all things outdoors! Her favorite parts of camp include chapel, sleep-outs, devotions, and the people and purpose that fill the place. She is so excited to take the Camp Tecumseh experience with her and her new friends wherever they are traveling this summer as one of the Adventure Trips counselors!

Isabella Monteiro is Brazilian (from Belo Horizonte) and she is crossing borders to join our team this summer. She is extremely excited to do her best in Camp Tecumseh. A little bit about Isabella: she is 19 years old, she has a technician degree in Environment Control and now she is a undergraduate student of environmental sciences. She works with children in her internship, her church and the Scouts Group she is part of. She loves to sing with her three sisters whenever they have family meetings.

Michelle is going into her senior year at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she will be student teaching in a third grade classroom this fall! She is originally from Peoria, Illinois. Josh is 18 years old and is from the South Island of New Zealand. This is Josh's first gap year and first summer at camp! Josh is anxious to get amongst it and share his talents with everyone and to make life long friends. Josh loves music and dancing stupidly while others watch in awe of his amazing moves. Josh loves magic but even more loves the way in which the trick is done. He plays guitar and jams out to any song with a good beat. Josh's goal is to put a smile on everyone's faces and to make this year full of fun, success, magic and silliness. Time to have a blast!!

Mikayla is coming all the way across the world from Australia this summer to spend teaching your kids how the ride horses! She is one of many Equestrian Counselors this year and it will be her first time teaching at summer camp! Mikayla is very excited to meet all the kids and learn about them as much as she wants to teach them about her self. She can't wait to see the talent and wisdom these kids will bring to summer and hopes it will be the best time of her life!

Growing up between two cornfields, Fizz hails from Kokomo, Indiana, but has spent the past four years living in Jackson, Mississippi where she attended Belhaven University. She has a bachelors degree in Biblical Studies with concentration on youth and children's ministry. This will be her fourth summer on staff at Camp T! Josué (usually called Josh, Joshua or J) is from Asunción, Paraguay and can't hide his excitement about being part of Camp Tecumseh's Staff! He's comitted to contribute to give all the children and people there the best summer ever. He's studying Marketing and Advertising at college (currently in the 7th. semester of 10 existing), involved in tons of social projects aiming to build a better society. Things he likes the most about camps are: Chapel and devos, making new friends, playing sports and turning his cabin into the coolest place inside camp.

Rachel, better known as Rotto, is from Carmel, IN but goes to Belmont University in Nashville, TN where she is studying music business and pre-law. Rotto particularly enjoys all things Taylor Swift, pizza, barbecue, pretty much food in general, chapel, and the m&m song. She is so excited for all the amazing memories and lifelong best-friendships that this summer will bring!

Savannah is now a sophomore at IUPUI majoring in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. She is originally from Greentown, Indiana and graduated in 2015 from Eastern High School. This is her first year on staff at Camp Tecumseh and is excited to meet all the campers! The activities she looks forward to the most are lake time and playing volleyball.

Sofia is a Sophomore at Illinois State University, majoring in Elementary Education with a certification in American Sign Language. This will be Sofia's sixth year at Camp Tecumseh and first time on staff. Sofia is a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and loves their moto "Lives with Purpose." Sofia enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, and going on adventures with her cat Spencer. Sofia is excited to be at camp all summer, so much lake time, chapel in the green cathedral, and theme dinners!

Mike is from Elmhurst, Illinois, and is a Junior studying English and Secondary English Education at the University of Missouri. This will be Mike's third year on staff, and he could not be more excited to take part in changing lives this summer at Tecumseh. His favorite things to do at camp include chapel, devotions, volleyball clinic and pretty much everything else. He is ready for the summer of a lifetime, and to show God's love to his campers. He is looking forward to meeting you!

Jacob is so excited for his third summer at camp! He just finished his senior year at Calvin College in Grand Rapids Michigan! He is graduating with an International Development Major and has one semester left abroad in Honduras! Jacob grew up in Peoria Illinois. Jacob is looking forward to another summer meeting new campers and being reunited with old ones. His favorite activities to do at camp are chapel, devotions, hammock sleep outs, snorkeling clinic, and cook outs. Jacob also goes by the name Jabob because his high school diploma misspelled his name. Jacob can solve a Rubik’s cube in under two minutes. He is ready to spend another summer teaching and showing campers how to love God first, others second, and themselves third.

Assistant Day Camp Director
Gianna Petrelli is more than excited to return to Camp Tecumseh for her twelfth summer, this being her third on staff. A lover of running, she is a member of the track and field team at DePauw University. She will enter her sophomore year pursuing a double major in chemistry and nonprofit business with a minor in spanish this fall. She has a knack for traveling and is excited to stay in Nicaragua for a month of mission work following the summer. No matter where she travels, she always calls Camp T home and can't wait for another summer of lake time and chapel in the Green Cathedral. She's ready for a great summer of day camp and overnight camp and urges you to give a high-five if you see her walking around!

Kelson Pike calls the tiny town of New Palestine, Indiana home. He is a sophomore at Notre Dame where he studies biological sciences. Kelson is finally back at camp after a four year hiatus and he couldn't be happier! This year will be his first time as a counselor, but it will be his ninth year at camp. He can't wait for every single clinic and having the opportunity to meet everyone who shares in the experience at Camp T.

Callum is excited to return to the States from New Zealand for his second summer as a camp counselor. He's currently into his second gap year out of high school and plans to enlist in the Royal New Zealand Airforce later this year as a pilot. He has a very keen love for music, exploring the great outdoors, trying new things, and can't wait to start helping campers have the best summer of their lives!

Jacob is excited for his first summer on resident staff. He has worked on Day Camp Staff the previous two summer, and has been a camper since 2008. Jacob will be entering his sophomore year at Indiana University where he is studying Chemistry. Jacob plans to either go to medical school or graduate school after completing his undergraduate degree. Jacob loves to sing and is in two choirs on campus, including a church choir. Jacob can't wait to have a great summer with all the counselors and kids!

Eric Rohrbach is from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a junior at Purdue University studying Materials Science Engineering. Eric is unbelievably psyched for his second summer ever at Camp Tecumseh. He is passionate about Purdue, tacky socks, God, and all things Camp T. His favorite things are chapel, hobo dinners, teaching rocketry clinic, and forming bonds with his campers. The summer can't come soon enough!

Daniel Rollock is from West Lafayette, IN and is excited for another fantastic summer here at Camp T! Daniel is a sophomore at Butler University studying Middle/Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies. Some of his favorite camp activities include carpetball, Neat-ure hikes, s'mores, and pool time! Daniel is ready for the best summer yet!!

Zachary is a mathematics education major at IU. As for hobbies, Zachary loves reading, videogames, kayaking, and climbing. On top of this, Zachary has helped coach wrestling at middle schools and high schools, and loves to give people suprise bear hugs and pick people up, so be warned!

Mariana is one of the Brazilians in Camp this summer. You can call her Mary, like most of people do. This is her third time in the US, but first as a counselor and in Camp T, so she is very excited to this new experience. Mary's favorite thing at Camp is Chapel and she can't wait for them and for this amazing summer to begin.

Michala hails from Kokomo, IN. She recently completed a gap year traveling and hiking in the Rocky Mountains and doing conservation work in Maine. In the fall she will be attending Purdue University to study Anthropology. Some of her hobbies include: hiking in pretty places, being a goofball, and drinking the perfect cup of tea. This is her first year as a counselor at Camp Tecumseh, but her seventh year walking its glorious grounds. Michala cannot wait to meet her campers and have an amazing summer!

Garret is 18 years old and is from Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He is currently attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and majoring in Accounting and minoring in German. In his free time he likes to camp, spend time outdoors, play ultimate Frisbee, and play disc golf. He was a camper here for 5 years and this is his third summer on staff. He could not be more excited for this summer and hopes to give campers the same amazing experiences he had as a camper.

Alexis is thrilled to be returning to camp for her 11th summer, but first as a Resident counselor! She is from Danville, Illinois, and she will be a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this fall. In her spare time, Alexis loves to read, spend time with her brothers, sing, dance, wear orange and blue, and play with her dog. Her favorite things about camp include chapels in the Green Cathedral, flies at lunch, baked oatmeal, devotions, the Richard G, and the way the stars shine brighter and the leaves are greener. She can't wait to get to know her campers and co-workers, and spend her summer with the fantastic Tecumseh family!

Ella is originally from Peoria, Illinois. Within the last year, Ella has packed up her life and moved 700 miles south to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she attends the University of Alabama. Roll tide! She just completed her freshman year and is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. This will be her first year as a counselor at Camp Tecumseh. Ella cannot wait to spend her summer at her favorite place on Earth. She is excited for just about everything at Camp, but most importantly she is looking forward to meeting tons of little kiddos and making great friends!

Ella was born and raised in the South Island of New Zealand and is super pumped to be spending her gap year at Camp T. Some fun facts about Ella: she plays the saxophone and the piano, she enjoys bonding with her miniature cows, she is a trained firefighter and is passionate about anything to do with having fun with young people. It is her first time at camp (actually first time in America), and is beyond excited to be a part of the camp family for the next few months!

Abby is from Downers Grove, Illinois and is going to be a junior in Animal Science at Iowa State University. Abby is excited for her 4th summer at camp but first on staff! She is super excited to put a few of her passions, horses and Camp, to good use this summer! Abby can't wait to help all her campers have the life changing experiences she did as her years as a camper!

Rachel is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois in animal sciences. She's working towards vet school and is really excited to pass on what she knows to other young horse lovers. In her free time, Rachel loves reading, shooting sports, and practically anything to do with animals and medicine (as long as it doesn't involve human bodies). Rachel is also a former 11-year 4-H member, a current 4-H volunteer, and has completed a minor in Leadership Studies. She is especially eager to pass on what she's learned to those in high school and junior high, as they'll be starting to place more emphasis on friends and social ties.

Kaylin is 21 years old and is going into her senior year at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She grew up in Carmel, Indiana and this will be her 10th year at Camp Tecumseh! She is studying social work and accounting and hopes to one day work for an organization where she can use her skills to help others. Kaylin enjoys playing guitar, hiking, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. She's looking forward to chapel time, hobo dinners, and making new friends at camp!

Luan is from Minas Gerais - Brazil, and he is very excited for his first summer at Camp Tecumseh and in the United States. He has been working with kids for 7 years and he can't wait to use his experience to have the best time with campers this summer. He loves belting out camp songs and to do skits He has been working as an actor, dancer and singer in musical theater in Brazil. Luan studied english by himself since he was 16 years old just listening to music and watching movies and series. Since then, his biggest dream is to come to the United States. Which is coming true now!

Seth Wallace is from Goshen, Kentucky and will be a sophomore this coming fall at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana where he studies economics and plays tennis. Seth is very excited to be spending his first summer at Camp Tecumseh on staff. Seth enjoys being outside, playing any sport you could imagine, playing the guitar, and just chillin'. Seth can't wait to meet all of the awesome campers!

Paige is from Kalamazoo, MI and just finished her first year at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She is a genetics major on the pre-med track and admits that camp is her favorite place on Earth. She is immensely excited for her first year on resident staff. After two years on day camp staff and four years as a camper she cannot wait to get back to days filled with lake time, pop stop, and chapel every morning. In her free time, Paige can be seen volunteering with her sorority sisters, watching Netflix, or planning for another amazing summer!

Claire Wendt originally hails from the town of Zionsville, Indiana but now attends DePaul University where she double majors in Intercultural Communication and Spanish. In the fall, though, she will not be returning to Chicago, instead heading to Barcelona to study abroad! Claire has been coming to camp since she was 8 years old and after working the past two summers on Day Camp staff, she is thrilled to be working for the first time as a resident camp counselor. A fun fact about Claire is that she's a triplet and can't wait to share her 12th summer at camp with her fellow counselor siblings, Kiley and Blake, at the greatest place on earth! She is certain that this summer will be one for the books and looks forward to making memories, meeting, and learning from counselors and campers alike.

Coming from the small town of Greentown, Liz White is excited to begin her 4th summer here at camp as the assistant Lake Village director. Liz has worked as a summer counselor in the past years as well as one season of outdoor education and one year of retreats and loves everything about camp. What is she most excited for? Liz is most excited for chapels, clinics, and overall soaking up the culture of camp. She looks forward to an amazing summer!

Sarah has been counting down the days to returning to Tecumseh for another summer. Summer camp has always been her favorite part of the year because of the friendships, adventures, campfires, traditions and faith. When she's not at camp, you can find Sarah teaching 7th grade English Composition in Fishers, IN, leading Young Life and Wyld Life in HSE, running Friendship Bracelet Club, blogging and starting dance parties. A highlight of this past year was going to Ethiopia for a week with Young Life.

She attends Butler Univeristy where she studies Marketing and International Business and has a minor in Art + Design, and is on the pre-law track. She loves baked oatmeal, blob time, and the horsemanship clinic! She's excited to work with kids and spend a lot of time praising God!

Rachel is a sophomore at Purdue University on the Track and Field and Cross Country team studying Pre-Medicine/Neurobiology with the hopes of one day becoming a doctor. She is from Carmel, Indiana and this will be her 8th summer at camp. Last summer, she was on staff as a Day Camp Counselor, but she is even more excited to be on Res staff this year! Her favorite parts of camp include opening campfire, baked oatmeal Friday's, cabin dance parties, mud hikes, making friendship bracelets, and hanging out at the lake. Rachel is so excited to see old campers and friends, meet new ones, and have the best summer yet!

Todd is extremely excited to be back at camp for his fourth summer! In previous summers he has spent most of his time on the Buffalo Porch in the Lake Village. This summer, he is proud to be announcing that he'll be taking his talents to the Kiva, much like when LeBron took his talents to South Beach. While Todd and LeBron have similar styles and tenacity on the court, they also share similar goals. LeBron brought two championships to Miami and Todd hopes to bring just as much success to the CILTS. Todd is a team player and is prepared to assist his campers in achieving their goals, help prepare them score leadership opportunities back in their hometowns, and make sure that every camper's experience is a slam dunk! He also enjoys rest hour.

This is David's 15th year at camp and his 6th year on summer staff! He is now a college graduate with a BBA from Grand Valley State University in Finance and Economics. David looks forward to preparing your son for survival in the post-apocalyptic, technology-free environment that is Camp Tecumseh. He will show screen-time weary young men the fun to be had outdoors at the lake, on the zip-line, and sleeping under the stars. Skills for survival without a cell phone will be taught including cooking over a fire, wearing sunscreen, and walking in the woods. By the end of the week, your child won't even remember how to Snapchat!
