Getting Back and Giving Back on Partner Service Day

Every Spring and Fall we get excited for Partner Service Day. Bringing together volunteers from all over for a day of fellowship and service, partner service day aims to make improvements around camp that require some additional manpower.

On October 4th we were joined by volunteers from Chicago, Indianapolis, Kokomo, and the surrounding Lafayette area. In addition, Purdue’s Boiler Out, an international student organization at Purdue dedicated to community service and intercultural exchange, and Campus Crusade for Christ sent representatives to help make improvements around camp.

Despite the chilly weather, we tackled projects including invasive species control, trail management, flower planting, and fence construction.

Thank you to all of our service day partners who volunteered their time to help make camp even better. If you or your organization would like to take part in future service days, contact Tom Elliott.
